About

The North Carolina Autism Assessment Center.

Our Vision

To be a trusted resource for autism evaluations in North Carolina, where every individual is understood, every family feels supported, and every assessment leads to greater awareness, acceptance, and opportunity.

Our Mission

To provide accurate, evidence-based autism spectrum disorder (ASD) evaluations in a compassionate, family-centered environment — helping individuals and families gain clarity, access appropriate support, and take confident next steps.

The North Carolina Autism Assessment Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based autism evaluations for children and families across North Carolina. Led by Dr. Suzanna Fletcher, PsyD, our center focuses on delivering accurate diagnoses while ensuring every family feels supported, informed, and respected throughout the process.

We understand that seeking an autism evaluation can bring uncertainty and concern. Our goal is to replace that uncertainty with clarity — offering a structured, thoughtful evaluation process that leads to meaningful answers and practical next steps.

Meet Dr. Suzanna Fletcher

Dr. Suzanna L. Fletcher, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist in North Carolina with extensive experience in developmental and diagnostic evaluations. She brings a balance of clinical expertise and compassionate care to every assessment she leads.

Dr. Fletcher personally supervises each multidisciplinary evaluation, ensuring that every diagnosis is based on a comprehensive understanding of the individual — not just test results, but real-life behaviors, history, and context.

Her goal is to ensure that every family leaves the evaluation process not only with answers, but with a clear and confident path forward.
